New Year, New Stuff
I'm completely excited about 2014. After much anticipation, I think we are getting closer to getting a logo. With the logo comes much more as we will be changing our product packaging.
In regards to our laundry detergent we will no longer use Mason Jars, we will be using Flour Sacks with our logo stamped on them. We will also offer the smaller flour sacks for our tester products. This will help us keep shipping cost down. I need our product to be cheap enough to ship so that it will be a value to our customer. This new packaging will assist with that. We will also use this same concept for our soap nuts and the dryer balls we make.
In mid Jan, we will be adding a line of goat milk body soaps. We've partnered with our friend a local goat milk soap maker and will be retailing her product on our site. Her soaps a fabulous. Made with shea butter and goat milk from her own goats. Rich and smooth and so gentle on skin. I've slowly...very slowly fallen in love with felting. I've figured out how to felt soap so this process will also be added to product line.
I feel like I have so much I need to get done. The never ending checklist. But It's going to take longer than I wish. With the twins and a husband in need of a kidney transplant, it's impossible to do it all. Baby steps, and we will get there.
